Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RADOCO GmbH, Kantstrasse 59, Nuremberg, Germany, is the data controller for radoco.co. Contact: privacy@radoco.co. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our site and services, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.

2. What we collect and why

Contact, warranty and dealership forms: the name, phone number, email address, product model, description and any photo you send us — to answer your enquiry, process your guarantee claim or dealership application. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in providing support.

Community: the name you choose, your post text, an optional email address (never shown publicly) and your IP address — to publish your post, prevent spam and abuse, and let you take part. Legal basis: your consent when posting and our legitimate interest in keeping the community safe.

Newsletter: your email address, only if you subscribe — to send you RADOCO news. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link.

Technical data: our web server logs the IP address, time, requested page, browser type and referring page of each request for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site securely.

Preferences: your wishlist, compare list, language choice and whether you dismissed the region banner are stored in your own browser (localStorage). They never leave your device unless you send them to us.

3. Cookies and analytics

radoco.co does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested. Links to Amazon.ae, YouTube or social networks take you to those services, whose own privacy notices apply.

4. Who receives your data

Our hosting provider (server located in the EU), which processes data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement; Amazon.ae for purchases you make there; and authorities where the law requires it. We never sell, rent or give away your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries and guarantee claims: for the duration of the guarantee plus statutory retention periods (up to 10 years for accounting records). Community posts: until you ask us to remove them or the community is closed. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: 30 days.

6. International transfers

Data is stored in the European Union. If you contact us from outside the EU (for example from the UAE), your data is transferred to the EU to be processed there. Where we transfer data to a third country, we use safeguards recognised under the GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR — and, for UAE residents, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection — you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; ask us to restrict processing; object to processing based on legitimate interest; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. Write to privacy@radoco.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).

8. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Updated" date shows the current version. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
